Ken Loome tells me that there is a new sitcom due out later this year on BBC 4 about detectorists with the very original working title of “Detectorists”. It stars McKenzie Crook ( The Office, Pirates of the Caribbean) and a quirky crew of characters.
It is being filmed in Norfolk, Suffolk and Essex. Anybody fancy being an extra?
