At last! A hammered.

One day in early May I though I’d found a milk bottle top of the foil variety – from the days when milk came in glass bottles. A good job I didn’t screw it up and put it with the nails and other detritus I had collected. It’s only taken three years of willing that exclusive first hammered into range of my detector but it sure has been worth the wait for this Edward 111 half noble struck 1356-61. Not bad for a first hammered coin – and well done my trusty entry level Fisher.

Andrew.
