A good number of members turned up to the Christmas meeting. We all enjoyed ourselves with food, drink, a raffle and two quizzes from Ken and Gill. We judged our annual find of the year competitions and congratulations go to Alan for his sword hanger (Artefact of the Year), to Gill for her Richard II halfpenny (Coin of the Year) and to Geoff for his ‘Eyes Only’ collection of finds as voted by members at the meeting. Alan was also declared Finder of the Year from the tally of points collected by entries in the monthly competitions.
